Saturday the 21st of July saw the official opening of the Middleton Railway Running Shed,by Cllr Judith Blake, accompanied by other ward members, Kim Groves, Paul Trustwell and Paul Wray. The shed which has been a new build project for the volunteers for a number of years was financed by donations, in particular there was a buy a brick scheme which was very successful and the local University Technical College (which used to be Braims Engineering) donated some wood to be used as the floor. Check out the interview on the radio loop with Janet Auckland, the Railway Commercial Manager, Cllr Kim Groves and Cllr Judith Blake.

The Funding is in....the countdown begins.....
Great to meet everyone at the inaugural meeting for South Leeds Radio last night, funding is in thanks to the National Lottery and the Local Ward Members. We are currently broadcasting a loop on a temporary platform at the moment. We have inserted in the loop a quick interview between myself and Martin Brennan about the meeting last night.
