Saturday the 21st of July saw the official opening of the Middleton Railway Running Shed,by Cllr Judith Blake, accompanied by other ward members, Kim Groves, Paul Trustwell and Paul Wray. The shed which has been a new build project for the volunteers for a number of years was financed by donations, in particular there was a buy a brick scheme which was very successful and the local University Technical College (which used to be Braims Engineering) donated some wood to be used as the floor.
